Cara Carmina is a self-taught artist with a deep connection to her cultural roots. Her artwork is a vibrant mix of color, magic, and folklore, drawing inspiration from Mexican traditions, fairy tales, and her own personal journey.

She is the illustrator of the collection of children's books Frida c'est moi, written by Sophie Faucher at Éditions Édito. The series was brought to the screen in animation by Du Coup Animation and Tobo Studio and is the recipient of a Gémeaux Prize!
She is also the author and illustrator of the adorable collection Les Lapins Malins published by Éditions Les Malins where she addresses bullying.
