Jean-Philippe Morasse is a Montreal-based artist with a playful spirit and a big heart. Known for his witty humor and expressive style, Jean-Philippe brings a touch of magic to everyday life through his art.
He draws inspiration from his love of Disney films, Sailor Moon, and the joy of chasing Pokémon on Mont-Royal. With his two mischievous cats, Gustav and Balthazar, by his side, Jean-Philippe creates works that blend whimsy, emotion, and a unique perspective on the world.
Graduated in 3D Animation, he worked for 8 years in various studios. Now he wants to draw, tell and create his own stories. He is the author and illustrator of the Srirachat collection at Éditions Les Malins and the illustrator of the Folle école collection, written by Catherine Trudeau at Éditions La Bagnole.
